Band bid "Auf Wiedersehen" to student member
Over the last few months the band have had the pleasure of the company of Mr Christian Greiter, a German student attending the University of Ulster at Jordanstown. Back home in Germany Christian plays for Brassband Oberschwaben Allgaeu, who were placed 3rd in the Second Section of the European Brass Band Championships in Gronigen 2005. A talented multi-instrumentalist, Christian plays cornet, trombone, baritone and euphonium.
During his short time with the band he was put to good use and played in various positions in the band including Repiano cornet and Baritone, all to a very high standard.
The band would like to wish Christian continued success with his studies and his banding career and hope he will keep in contact with us.
