My name is Clare Kelly and I am 16 years old. I have been playing with the Third Carrickfergus Silver Band for about 9 years.

I started off playing soprano cornet in the junior band and then the Bb cornet when I joined the senior band. I am currently working on my Grade 8 and am going on to study AS level music in Dominican College.

Through the band I have made many friends of all ages. We all have fun together as well as working hard. I feel honoured to be part of the band on this very special occasion and hope to be a part of it for many years to come.
