I’ve been playing in the Third Carrickfergus Band for 6 years now. I started off by going to junior band on a Saturday morning where I played a flugel horn. In the summer of 2007 I was promoted to the senior band but I still get up early on Saturday mornings to play with the junior band where I still play the flugel horn. In the senior band I now play repiano cornet.

I have gained a lot of experience and confidence through playing in the band and I am currently beginning work for Grade 5 flugel horn.
