I joined the Third Carrickfergus Silver Band in 2007. I have been learning percussion and drum kit since I was 8 years old and am currently studying for my Grade 5 percussion and Grade 6 drum kit exams. My favourite instruments are timpani and drum kit and I particularly like playing rock and classical music. As well as playing for Third Carrickfergus Silver Band I play with a youth fellowship band in my local Methodist church in Doagh. I also play in the Ballyclare High School orchestra and wind band and also in the NEELB orchestra.
