My name is Nicky Cameron and I hail from bonnie wee Montrose
So here is a wee bit about me in this line or two of prose.

My introduction was when I joined the Montrose Town Band at the age of ten
I pushed my tuba about the town on a skateboard way back then
Our bandmaster, Mr Easton, had his work cut out
“Bald and Grey you will have me” he always used to shout.

Fate had me meet a Carrick man who took me for his wife
He promised we would make music together throughout our married life
So he directed me to Third Carrickfergus band’s website
An email I sent to Des Graham one Dark December night.

All at Third Carrick have been so welcoming and kind
And a friendlier bunch would be very hard to find
With this band I enjoy the craic.
