Hey there! My name is Rachael Barr. I'm 17 and am a student at Newtownabbey Tec, studying Childcare.

I have always enjoyed music, and started on the cello, and was a member of my primary school orchestra. Once I moved to Larne Grammar, I decided to take up the trumpet.

One broken trumpet, and a chance meeting with Desy Graham, led me to joining Third Carrick Junior Band, with the cornet. I now play in Third Carrick Band. I have been in the band for 1 year. I also enjoy playing the piano, and hope to learn to play the saxophone.

My other passion in life is my 2 horses, Harvey and Levi, although they do not play any instruments yet.
