I have been with the Third Carrickfergus Band since 2002 and play the cornet. I first got to know about the band through my sister Rachael. I only went with Rachael and my parents to drop her off at the band hall and some how ended up with a cornet in my hand.

Since then I have played solo cornet with the junior band, which I still attend every Saturday morning. I remained in the junior band until 2 years ago when I gave the senior band a try. After a spell on 2nd cornet I have now moved to the front row and am really enjoying it.
