JUNIORS SHINE AT MOSSGROVE MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Courtyard Theatre at Ballyearl hosted the annual Mossgrove Youth Music Festival from February 3rd to 10th 2007 where a number of the band's junior members competed. No less than 7 players were placed in the contest, a wonderful result for the competitors, tutors and the future for both the junior and senior band.

Congratulations to all who took part and we look forward to reading much more about the future successes of the junior band and it's members as they continue to develop their playing skills and become accomplished musicians.

The results are as noted below.

U12 Class
2nd place - Gareth McQuitty
3rd place - David Ervine

U16 Class
1st place - Rebecca Donaldson *
2nd place - Deborah Gourley
3rd place - Janey Spence

* Rebecca won the Courtyard Plaque and goes on to participate in the Gala night on Saturday 10th Feb at 7pm.

U20 Class
2nd place - Rachael Donaldson
3rd place - Amber MacLennan
