BAND FINISH 2005 ON HIGH NOTE
2005 came to and end for the band - musically with the annual
Christmas concert in the Golf Club on Saturday 17th December followed by the usual Christmas morning playing
in Joymount Nursing home followed by some mulled wine and a few tunes
at Rhanbuoy. The social side of the band culminated in the annual New Years Eve party which as usual was
hosted admirably by the Watsons, but beware, there are photos - and some may even
be published on this web site. 2006 will see the band prepare for the usual contests and
devise a programme for the only too soon to arrive summer concerts. In
addition, this year sees the European Championships being held in Belfast.
We will keep you all up to date with all the events as we get them. The band very much appreciate the wonderful support it
received in 2005 and look forward to it continuing during 2006.
